Dr. Walter Kristjanson 1923-2018

“Dr. K” as he was affectionately known, practiced medicine in Atikokan for 35 years. He was Chief of Staff at the Atikokan General Hospital for 29 years, delivered 1,988 babies, and was one of the first to teach young physicians in the Northern Medical Program.
